Greensboro welcomes the ABA’s latest expansion team, the Carolina Kings
The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Carolina Kings located in Greensboro, NC have been added to the record-setting expansion for the upcoming season. “We are very pleased to have Erik Norman and his team as part of the ABA,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “Eric is the owner of the Triad Outlaws, a semi-pro football team and is very experienced in what it takes to be successful both on and off the court.”
Erik Ali Norman was born and raised in Reidsville NC and grew up loving sports. After graduating from Reidsville Sr High School, he went on to attend Winston-Salem State University to pursue political science and is currently pursuing a business degree from Miller-Motte College. “I am really excited about this opportunity,” added Norman. “We have some tremendous basketball talent in this area and should be able to field a very competitive team.”
