The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Music City Jazz has moved to Dothan, AL and will begin play when the 2024-2025 season begins in November. “It is great to have Angela Culliver and her team back after a year’s hiatus,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “Angela is an excellent owner and will make an impact on and off the court.”

Angela “Bossladi” Culliver is an Army veteran who comes from an extensive line of Armed Forces family members. Because of her background, she knows about structure, commitment, hard work and perseverance and brings these things to her ABA team. The team name will be the Circle City Pythons.

Tasha Mahone and I have already been in Dothan working with players, city officials and local citizens,” added Ms. Culver, CEO of A&T Sports, Inc. “We are very familiar with the market as our Dothan Snipers have played summer basketball here and we know that bringing the history of the ABA with its famous red, white and blue ball, unique rules and fast-paced play will make the Pythons an instant hit with the fans. Circle City, get ready for a treat.
