The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Erie Elite will begin play when the league resumes in November. “This is going to be one special team,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “This definitely will be the combination of music and sports that we have been striving for with Clarice “Cy-Cy Couture” Lucas as the owner.

Cy-Cy is a native of Erie PA and a multifaceted entrepreneur and entertainer mentored by businessman and hip hop artist Tjuan Benefactor. Currently Cy-Cy runs a division of Rick Ross’s Pink Belaire Rose ambassador program, the “Bellaire Baddies.” She is VP of Showoffgang/Empire’s African division, Showoff Gang Africa as well as owner of O’Fela African Lounge in Pittsburgh. Clarice has had five successful tours headlining throughout Africa and has demonstrated exceptional leadership in guiding the careers of emerging talents worldwide.
