The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Midwest Monstarz located in Chicago have been added to its historic expansion and will begin play in November. “The interest in the ABA is almost overwhelming,” stated ABA CEO. “The growth in the league is phenomenal well beyond anything ever envisioned or achieved by a professional sports league of any type. The combination of the ABA’s exciting rules which make our game faster and higher scoring and more fun for the fans combined with our unique business model and ease of ownership have set new horizons for us. I cannot express how exciting it is. And it will only get better.”

The team will be led by Frederick Harris Jr., an experienced ABA player, who is currently a City Clerk of Chicago Impound as well as a skilled artist. “Our objective is to develop players that are serious about playing professional basketball,” added Harris. “We have experienced players and staff who are excited about the opportunity to make a name for themselves. I really appreciate the time I had with the ABA Chicago Knights and am looking forward to competing with so many great ABA teams in our division.”
