The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added a second team to Brooklyn NY to begin in the 2025-2026 season, the Brooklyn Empire. “With over 2.5 million people, Brooklyn is the most populated of NY’s five boroughs,” stated Joe Newman, ABA CEO. “Adding a second team provides the citizens of Brooklyn with even more exciting basketball at affordable prices.
