The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the league will return to Charlotte NC in November with the addition of the Charlotte Flight in its record-setting expansion. “We are really pleased to have LaMar Rice as a team owner; he has an interesting background with great experience and should be a wonderful asset to the ABA.”

LaMar Rice is a WNBPA and FIBA Certified Agent who started his career as a student in the Athletic Management Program with Sports Management Worldwide. Shortly after completing the program, he became an Agent Advisor before becoming certified and moved to co-CEO of a Sports Agency. It was at that time, LaMar realized he always wanted to own a professional basketball team and that the ABA was the best opportunity available. His team of Tamdra, Angelique, Chauncey and Jalen and he put together the plan to acquire the Charlotte market. “We will be inventive, exciting and provide a family fun experience,” added Rice. “When you step into Charlotte be prepared to TAKE FLIGHT.”
