The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the DC Senate has been added to the record-setting list of expansion teams ready to begin play in the 2025-2026 season. “We are very excited to add Tracy Pulliam and his team to the ABA,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “Tracy has played and coached for the Department of Parks and Recreation in DC and also attended the University of the District of Columbia. He is very familiar with our nation’s capital and feels that he can maximize the potential of what the city has to offer – and so do we. We’re really looking forward to having him in the league.
“I work in the transportation industry,” added Pulliam. “And I have been following the ABA for some time now and would love to build a successful basketball organization. We have a lot of great players in the DC area as well as Virginia and Maryland and know we can put together a very competitive team and also know that fans will love having such exciting basketball and entertainment at affordable prices. A win-win situation.”
