The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Hudson Valley Rivermen will return to the ABA after a two-year hiatus while searching for a permanent home. “We are very proud of Gary Brill and Naomi Mombrum for their continued efforts to find a great venue for their team,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “They stuck to it and were successful.”
The Town of Fallsburg NY has welcomed the Rivermen. The team will train and compete at the Fallsburg Central School District gym bringing exciting ABA basketball action to the community. “We are absolutely thrilled to be back in the ABA,” added Brill, “and very thankful to the Town of Fallsburg for their support. We will make the Town and the ABA proud and are looking forward to an exciting season.
