The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Maine Bulldogs have been added to the record-setting expansion for the upcoming season. “The Northeast Division is one of the strongest divisions in the entire league,” stated ABA CEO. “And I know that the Maine Bulldogs will add a lot to the division on and off the court.”
The team is owned by Chad Gray, a former and college player with a passion for the game of basketball since he was a kid. “I really enjoy the process of constantly challenging myself to get better every day as a player and teammate,” added Gray. “I decided to create this team to fill the void for the lack of professional men’s basketball teams in Maine and the ABA is a great league. Now players who can really play and want to pursue the game professionally will have an avenue to build their resume, staff included. I saw an opportunity to uplift communities throughout Maine and we’re excited for the opportunity to be a part of the ABA. We are committed to building a winning culture on and off the court.” For more information, email mainebulldogs@gmail.com
