The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the East Bay Kings have returned to the ABA following a two-year hiatus. “We are very pleased to have Lorenzo King and his team back,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. Lorenzo is quite an interesting person and adds a lot to the league and will be a factor in the West Region.”

Lorenzo King is a native of Oakland CA and was a Division I football player at SMC,CA and played professionally in the NIFL/IFL prior to playing professional basketball as a guard with his team, the East Bay Kings. He also played internationally with the Mexico Tucanes. King founded Field of Dreamz Entertainment as an entrepreneur and musician and landed a major distribution deal with Empire Records. Recording under the name “Renz Julian,” he has collaborated and worked with many major artists in the music industry such as Snoop Dogg, E-40 and Twista.
