The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added the Gulfport Kings to its growing list of expansion teams for the 2022-2023 season. “We’re very excited about having Anissa Ben and her husband Eli as part of the ABA,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “A native of New Orleans and a multi-sport athlete, Anissa has worked in the medical, industrial and entertainment industry and now owns Sportsphanalia, which sells licensed NFL, NBA, MLB and NCAA merchandise.”
