The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has added the Jackson Boom located in Jackson TN to its record-setting expansion for the upcoming season. “Under the astute leadership of team President Cesar Quispe, the Boom has become synonymous with excellence on and off the court,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “Hailing from the captivating landscapes of Cusco, Peru, Cesar’s narrative is one of resilience, passion and visionary leadership.”
Cesar’s academic pursuits led him to Antillean University in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico where he immersed himself in the rich tapestry of Caribbean culture prior to attending Lane College, an esteemed Historically Black College in University (HBCU) where he not only expanded his academic horizons but also imbibed the values of diversity and inclusivity that would shape his future endeavors. He is now the owner of March Marketing Agency and has spearheaded transformative collaborations with global icons like Shaquille O’Neal, CeeLo Green and the illustrious Grammy Awards.
In 2022, he embarked on the ambitious venture of acquiring a professional soccer franchise, the Jackson Boom which has achieved unprecedented success. “And now, I have expanded into professional basketball with the Jackson Boom ABA team,” added Quispe. “And I hope to unite both sporting endeavors under the same banner and solidifying our position as West Tennessee’s premier sports clubs. We are going to continue to push the boundaries of sports innovation and community engagement and serve as a beacon of inspiration for future generations with a relentless pursuit of excellence coupled with our unwavering commitment to uplifting others and cement ourselves as true pioneers in the world of sports and beyond.”
