The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the New Jersey Soldiers have been added to the league’s record-setting expansion for the upcoming season.  “We are very pleased to have Adrian Shenfield as an owner of an ABA team,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “Adrian is a former ABA player who has moved to ownership from being on the
court, one of several former ABA players who have extended their basketball careers with team ownership.”
“I’m here to motivate and inspire people around the world to chase their dreams and make them a reality,” added Shenfield.  “Throughout my life I have experienced very challenging things and adversity as an individual and athlete which made me who I am today.  Sharing my basketball journey and experiences I hope to inspire all.  I am looking for players who want to be soldiers and who are ready to go to war every night.  My experiences in the ABA give me a great understanding of how things work and I’m hoping to make a difference and some noise bringing another team to New Jersey.”
