The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the River Region Generals, located in Montgomery AL will be returning to the league starting in November. “We are very pleased to have Syreeta Bailey back,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “She is a very special person and her team will be a great addition to the South Region.”

Ms. Bailey is the mother of two amazing teenagers, an entrepreneur, speaker, author and recent breast cancer survivor activist and has been operating the Generals for the last seven years. She has received several awards for her own nonprofit organization and community involvement.”

“I am very excited about returning home to the ABA,” added Ms. Bailey. “And bringing the red, white and blue ABA fast-paced, 3D special concepts and rules back to Montgomery.”
