The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Southfield Tigers located in Detroit MI are a late entry into the league for the upcoming season. “We are pleased to have Kendall English, a visionary entrepreneur, as part of the ABA,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “Formerly known as the Michigan Road Runners,” his team founded in 2018, had a very successful run in another league and I have no doubt that they will be a force to be reckoned with in the ABA also.”

“What sets the team apart,” added English, “is our commitment to player development. My vision extends beyond the court providing a platform for talented athletes to showcase their skills and propel themselves to higher-paying professional leagues. Many of our players have leveraged this experience to elevate their careers to new heights. Now, our dynamic team is gearing up for a new chapter by competing in the ABA. With tryouts on the horizon, aspiring athletes have the opportunity to join a legacy of excellence and be a part of something special. Keep an eye on the Tigers are we continue our pursuit of basketball greatness.”
