The American Basketball Association (ABA) www.abaleague.com today announced the merger between two of the top teams in the Southeast Division, the Baldwin County Hoopers (#3) and the Mobile Jesters (#8).  The two teams will work together to bring a first-class experience through basketball with a dream
of bringing an ABA championship to the Gulf Coast.
Quentin Davis, Mobile Jester owner stated, “The merge is huge for the community, bringing Mobile and Baldwin County together.  There is so much talent in our area and our community deserves the exposure this opportunity is going to bring.”  Mr. Davis is entering his first year as team owner after acquiring the Jesters from former owner and now Division Chairman Charlie McCants.
Marcus T. Washington, Baldwin County Hoopers owner believes that this merger is just the beginning for the collaboration between Mobile and Baldwin County.  “With just showing our communities we can work together and build something successful, this will give the courage to our youth to believe they can do the same while creating a sense of competitiveness and fellowship.”

New website, social media and sponsorship opportunities involving the Gulf Coast Hoopers will be announced shortly.  For more information, contact Quentin Davis at 251 348 3778 or email [email protected] or call Marcus Washington at 251 597 8995 or email [email protected].
