The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that Ray Jacobs has been named Vice President of Finance and will oversee several new financial initiatives that the league will be launching shortly.  “Having a person in this newly created position is long overdue,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “And having Ray Jacobs filling this position provides us with an extraordinary individual with a long career of success in the financial world.“
Ray Jacobs has 30+ years in all phases of Commercial & Residential Real Estate Development, Marketing and Investing and will include ASRG (ABA Sports and Realty Group), the league’s venue building program among his many responsibilities.  As a private banker, he has negotiated business and asset contracts, managed a 40+ person staff agency while running a successful real estate brokerage
business.
