The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Arizona Saints has been added to its Pacific South Division and will begin play in November. “This summer we are planning to announce a major re-alignment of teams as the league is growing so rapidly,” stated ABA CEO. “The addition of the Arizona Saints is perfect timing and will fit the new division structure beautifully.”
The team will be owned by Daniel Campa, a native of Tucson AZ who played basketball at Mount Marty College. “I am honored and thrilled to bring a pro basketball team to Southern Arizona, ” added Campa. “Our ownership group has a goal to assist talented and committed players to either kick off or continue their professional careers and the ABA is that answer for us.” For more information, email tucsonsaintsbc@gmail.com
