The American Basketball Association (ABA) today released its Pre-Season Power Rankings and the Chicago Fury took the #1 spot over the defending ABA Championship Jacksonville Giants by the tiniest of margins.  “This was a very close call,” stated ABA CEO.  “If you watched the final game of the ABA Championship, you saw how close these two teams were.  The Fury let the game get away from them in the final seconds.  With a change of head coach for the Giants, we felt that it gave Chicago a slight edge.  One thing’s for sure, we have a very strong league this year with many top teams coming back after a season’s hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic.”
