The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Columbia Bruins, located in Columbia MO, have been added to the record-setting expansion for the upcoming season. “It is great to have Lee Carter and his team as part of the ABA,” stated ABA CEO. “The team and Lee will be a welcome addition to the Midwest Division.“

“My goal is to bring positivity to Columbia and to strive for greatness,” added Carter. “The Columbia Bruins aim to give back to the community by bringing a professional sports team to Columbia and hopefully the city will get behind it and cheer for it. Basketball is more than just a game and our path to excellence of success is through hard work and discipline. We will also encourage youth to be positive and active in the community.”
