The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Florida Blazin Tigers have joined the
league and will begin play in November. “Located in Gadsden County, FL (near Tallahassee), Richard Burns is one of the most
interesting new owners we have – a man of many talents,” stated ABA Joe Newman.  “This should be one fun and exciting team.”
Richard Burns was born and raised in Quincy. FL and has always had a passion for helping people and trying new things.  An
entrepreneur by heat, he has three degrees, an AS in Computer Design & Drafting, a BS in Project Management and a MBA
in Educational Leadership and is a certified carpenter, brick mason, OSHA trainer and national recording artist with two top
hits, “Bluetooth Love & Missus Lover.”
Burns currently owns Dragon Burns Promotion and promotes boxing and kickboxing events.  “Owning an ABA team will
be great fun and challenging,” added Burns.  “We will make a great impact on and off the court in the ABA.”
He will be assisted by Cortez Burns, President and Ezekial Burns, Vice President.
