The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Lone Star Crusaders located in Round Hill TX will return to the league starting in November. “It will be great to have Hillard Thomas back. He did a terrific job as Co-Owner, Head Coach and COO of the Texas Sky Riders 8 years ago and I know he will be even better now,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “A great addition to our South Central Division.”

A native of Queens NY, Hillard was active with the City Athletic League (PAL) and was involved in basketball, baseball, football and soccer and got the name “Gym Rat”:because he practically lived in the gym. He has over 18 years in the Financial Services industry and has served as COO, CEO, Operations Manager, Compliance Manager, Director of Sales, Collections Manager and Trainor and teaches the importance of financial literacy and business concepts.
