The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Nashville Aces will begin play in November. “I really think this will be a very competitive team on and off the court,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “Co-owners Allen Roger, Jr. and Duncan McClure have tremendous experience in sports and entertainment and have put together a great organization. We’re looking for some great things to happen.”

Allen Rogers, Jr, Co-owner, grew up in the city of Nashville and attended Glencliff High School where he played for three years bringing All District and All Region awards. He attended Crown College on a basketball scholarship prior to transferring to Boyce College University in Louisville. With five seasons of pro basketball for the Music City Kings, Allen brings leadership, compassion and tremendous talent to the team.

Duncan McClure, Co-owner, grew up in Central Illinois where he helped lead his high school team to two State Final appearances and a state championship his senior year as team captain. He has spent 10 years in organizational ministry and played for the ABA Music City Jazz where he became captain of the team

Vanessa Holman, General Manager, attended Hampton University for Organizational Psychology and Business. With a 20-year background in Operation Management and Information Technology, she is well equipped in leading Wolfpack Athletics, Inc.

Kyle King, Head Coach, was born and raised in Paducah, KY and served in the US Navy for 9 years where he played on the base team for Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base and served later as the Associate Head Coach at Naval Station Norfolk as well as Associate Head Coach of the Regent’s University women’s basketball team and has coached at Greensboro College and Virginia University of Lynchburg.
