The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Southland Saints located in Southern Suburbs of Chicago known as Southland, have been added to the growing list of teams that will begin play in November. “This is quite a special team,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “Les and Monique Rodgers, the owners, through their organization, Empowered Move, Inc. have invested in families, the youth and their community for more than 25 years with a goal of partnering with local businesses in their efforts to connect families and the businesses in the community.”
