The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that the Westchester Stars are set to begin play in November as part of the largest expansion in the league’s history. “Having a team in Westchester NY is long overdue,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman. “And in Steven Davis, we have the right person to do it. Westchester is a great market and it will be a good opportunity of the fans there to contrast the excitement of the ABA game vs the NBA’s G League. Aside from being affordable, the unique ABA rules make the game faster-paced, higher scoring and more fun. And fans will be surprised at the amazing skills of ABA players.”

Stephen E. Davis II is a Critical Care Paramedic/Nurse as well as a 3rd year Law Student at the Southern California Institute of Law. He graduated from Arkansas State University. “I am very excited to have an opportunity to join this great league; it is an exciting challenge and I will do my best to make the Stars an important part of the community. We have a lot to do, not that much time to do it.”
