The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced that it has formed a partnership with Zingo TV (www.zingotv.com) to introduce a new Pay-Per-View (PPV) platform to carry selected ABA professional basketball games live as well as tape delayed games and highlights from various teams around the league.  “This has been two years in the making,” stated ABA CEO Joe Newman.  “John Estiva and the entire Zingo TV technical staff along with Brian “Essince” Collins, ABA Director of TV, have been working tirelessly putting this platform together and gathering material for subscribers.  They’ve done an outstanding job and we are very excited to launch the platform on November 13th with the game between the Burning River Buckets and the Illinois Bulldogs.  On November 20, we’ll feature the Camden Monarchs and the Delco Desperados“.

The ABA is the largest professional sports league in the US with over 150 teams.  “Because of this national/international TV platform, people will have an opportunity to see  the excitement of the ABA with its unique rules and the extraordinary caliber of its players,” added Newman.  “We have been taken for granted, but soon fans will realize that outside of the NBA, the ABA is probably the best basketball being played.”

Zingo TV is an extraordinary platform that carries your favorite movies, TV shows and sports videos.  “We are very excited about this partnership with the ABA” stated John Estiva, president of Zingo TV. “The current  ABA is starting its 21st season and has a huge following from the days of Dr. J, George Gervin, Rick Barry, Moses Malone and others who went on to become legends in the NBA.  In addition to lots of basketball, the platform will also feature music videos from up and coming artists.”
